Bring Your Shopee Catalog to WhatsApp Commerce in Minutes

Import your Shopee catalog into bitbybit Commerce in a few clicks, and start selling on WhatsApp without rebuilding your store from scratch.

Already selling on Shopee? Import your catalog into bitbybit Commerce and start selling on WhatsApp without re-building your store from scratch.

Moving a store off a marketplace has always meant a trade-off: keep the traffic and the fees, or own the channel and rebuild the catalog by hand. This update removes the second half of that trade-off.

What’s changing, and what stays the same

Four things ship together in this release, all inside bitbybit Commerce:

What Change
Catalog setup New — import an existing Shopee catalog directly instead of adding products one by one
Order review New — Draft Orders hold an order for approval before it reaches the customer
Shipping accuracy New — shipping rates refresh at approval, not at the earlier quote
Commerce status Out of beta — catalog, orders, and checkout are stable and supported

Nothing about how bitbybit Commerce works day to day changes. Catalog, cart, checkout, and order management stay in the same place — this release removes friction at setup and at the order-approval step, it doesn’t restructure the product.

Import your Shopee catalog directly

Export your Basic Info file (plus optional Sales Info and Media Info) from Shopee’s Mass Update tool, and bring the whole catalog into bitbybit Commerce in one import. Product names, variants, prices, and images carry over — no manual re-entry, no rebuilding SKUs from a spreadsheet.

That matters more than it sounds. Catalog setup is the single biggest reason a seller who wants to move off Shopee delays doing it — a store with 200 SKUs on Shopee doesn’t get re-typed into a new system in an afternoon. With catalog import, that setup step shrinks from days to minutes, and your AI agent can start working the moment the catalog lands: answering product questions, recommending items, and taking orders in the same WhatsApp conversation your customers already use.

See the step-by-step in the Knowledge Base: How to Import Products from Shopee.

Draft Orders: review before an order reaches the customer

Orders your AI agent or your team creates in bitbybit Commerce can now be held as a Draft Order instead of sending immediately. Nothing reaches the customer until someone on your team approves it.

For a store just starting to let its agent create orders autonomously, this is the control valve — a human checkpoint on the order before it becomes a customer-facing commitment, without turning off agent-created orders altogether. As trust in the agent’s order accuracy builds, a team can loosen how often it reviews; the option to hold every order stays available regardless.

Shipping rates that match what the customer actually pays

Shipping quotes using GoSend, Blitz, and KiriminAja now refresh at the moment a Draft Order is approved, not when the order was first created. If time passes between an order being drafted and a team member approving it, the customer sees the shipping rate that applies right now — not a number calculated earlier that may no longer be accurate.

Commerce is out of beta

The Beta label is gone. Catalog, orders, and checkout in bitbybit Commerce are stable, supported, and built to run a real store — not a pilot you’re testing alongside your marketplace listing.

What this means for your business

  • Launch faster. Import an existing Shopee catalog in minutes instead of uploading products one by one — the setup step that used to take the longest now takes the least time.
  • Sell with more confidence. Review orders before they reach the customer, reducing manual errors and giving your team a control point on what your agent sends.
  • Keep shipping costs accurate. Customers see the current GoSend, Blitz, or KiriminAja rate at checkout, not an outdated estimate.

What should you do?

Already on bitbybit Commerce: Nothing is required — Draft Orders and refreshed shipping quotes are available now inside your existing setup. Turn on Draft Order review from your order settings if you want the approval step.

Selling on Shopee and considering WhatsApp Commerce: Start with the catalog import — see how it works with your own product list before committing to a full setup.

FAQ

Does importing my Shopee catalog affect my existing Shopee listing? No. The import copies your product data into bitbybit Commerce — it doesn’t modify, unlink, or remove anything on Shopee. You can keep selling on both while you test WhatsApp Commerce.

What exactly do I need to export from Shopee? The Basic Info file from Shopee’s Mass Update tool is required; Sales Info and Media Info are optional add-ons that bring in pricing/stock detail and product images respectively. The full field-by-field walkthrough is in the Knowledge Base.

Do Draft Orders slow down every order, or only the ones I choose to review? Draft Order review is a setting, not a default behavior forced on every order. Turn it on if you want every agent- or staff-created order held for approval; leave it off and orders send as they do today.

Which couriers does the refreshed shipping quote apply to? GoSend, Blitz, and KiriminAja — the three delivery integrations already built into bitbybit Commerce. The rate refresh happens automatically at the point a Draft Order is approved.
