Full Stack Developer for AI

About This Role

Join one of the first teams building Agentic AI Agents for WhatsApp. Build and scale our AI-powered platform across the full stack—backend, frontend, and mobile with React Native. End-to-end ownership from design to deployment.

You'll work on cutting-edge AI technology, building systems that help businesses across 50+ countries automate customer interactions through WhatsApp. This is a unique opportunity to shape the future of conversational commerce and work with modern technologies at scale.

Key Responsibilities

• Full stack development across backend (Node.js) and frontend (React/Next.js/TypeScript)
• Mobile contributions with React Native for WhatsApp integrations
• AI integration via workflows/APIs for real messaging use cases
• Design and implement RESTful APIs and GraphQL endpoints
• Build responsive, performant user interfaces with modern React patterns
• Work with PostgreSQL databases and optimize queries for scale
• Implement authentication, authorization, and security best practices
• Collaborate with product and design teams to deliver features end-to-end
• Write clean, maintainable code with comprehensive tests
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to engineering culture

Requirements

• Strong JavaScript/TypeScript skills across front end and back end
• Track record of shipping production-ready applications
• Familiarity or willingness to work with React Native
• Experience with modern React frameworks (Next.js, Remix, or similar)
• Proficiency with Node.js and backend development
• Understanding of database design and SQL (PostgreSQL preferred)
• Experience with RESTful APIs and/or GraphQL
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment
• Good communication skills in English

Nice to Have

• Experience with AI/ML integrations or working with LLMs
• Previous work with WhatsApp Business API or messaging platforms
• Knowledge of React Native and mobile development
• Experience with serverless architectures (Vercel, AWS Lambda)
• Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines
• Understanding of microservices architecture
• Open source contributions or personal projects to share
• Experience in fast-paced startup environments
